INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PUMP UNIT
Operation
1.
Before first use, air must be purged from the system. With ram all the
way down, open the release valve and operate by pumping manually
several times.
2.
Connect air hose to the pump and firmly close the release valve by
turning it clockwise and pressing the air control valve.
3.
The pump may also be operated by pumping it manually.
4.
Slowly open the release valve by turning it counterclockwise and
allow the ram to fully retract.
5.
Close the release valve by turning it clockwise.
Maintenance
1.
Clean dirt from around the filler plug and remove the filler plug from the hydraulic unit assembly.
2.
Fill the hydraulic reservoir with clean hydraulic oil to a level that just covers the hydraulic cylinder visible
through the filler hole. Do not overfill.
3.
Reinstall the filler plug in the hydraulic unit assembly.
