• These engines are certified to be powered by unleaded petrol�
• Do not use old or contaminated petrol or a petrol/oil mix�
• Prevent dirt or water getting into the fuel tank�
STARTING THE ENGINE

Read the operating instructions for the equipment powered by the engine and follow any safety
instructions when starting, stopping and operating the engine�
• The fuel tap is located in the space between the fuel tank and the carburettor� In order for the
engine to run, the fuel tap must be in the ON position�
• When the engine is not being used, the fuel tap must be in the OFF position in order to prevent
the carburettor flooding and reduce the risk of fuel leaks�
• In order for the engine to run, the engine switch must be in the ON position and the brake spring
in position 1� When the engine is turned off, the engine switch must be in the OFF position and
the brake spring in position 2�
