SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use.
IMPORTANT:
follow all the instructions and safety instructions to avoid personal injury and/or material damage. Save
these instructions for future reference. These instructions should be enclosed with the machine if you sell
it, or pass it on. The manufacturer cannot accept liability for any damage resulting from failure to follow
these instructions.
General safety instructions
Never modify the machine in any way.
Only use spare parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
IMPORTANT:
Avoid inhaling exhaust fumes – risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Keep children away from the machine.
IMPORTANT:
Do not touch the engine and/or exhaust system – risk of burn injuries.
Wear ear protection.
IMPORTANT:
Petrol is highly flammable and can be explosive in certain circumstances.
Never start or run the machine indoors or in enclosed or explosive environments, for example in
the vicinity of flammable liquids, gases or dust. The exhaust fumes must be evacuated through an
exhaust hose if the machine is used indoors.
IMPORTANT:
Leaking exhaust fumes can result in the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning Never point the
exhaust hose towards flammable materials – fire risk.
Do not use the machine in explosive environments, for example, in the vicinity of flammable liquids,
gases or dust.
Never modify the default speed setting on the machine, this could damage the machine and/or
connected equipment.
Make sure that the machine cannot move or tip over when it is transported.
Leave at least 1 m of free space around the machine when it is in use.
Place the machine on a stable, horizontal surface. Do not move or tilt the machine when it is
running.
Switch off the machine and allow it to cool before transporting it and/or refuelling.
Make sure not to spill fuel on the machine, the engine and/or the exhaust hose.
Never use the machine in rain or snow.
Do not touch the machine with wet hands or wet parts of your body.
Avoid the risk of electric shock. If the machine is used outdoors, only use an extension cord
approved for outdoor use.
Extension cords up to 50 m must have a cross-sectional conductor area of at least 1.5 mm
2
, and
extension cords up to 100 m a conductor area of at least 2.5 mm

Never modify the settings for the engine or the machine.
Repairs and adjustments must only be carried out by qualified personnel.
Avoid sources of heat and do not smoke when refuelling and/or emptying the fuel tank.
Do not touch moving or hot parts. Never remove the safety devices on the machine.
Do not expose the machine to moisture or dust. Maximum ambient temperature: -10 to 40°C.
Maximum height above sea level: 1000 m. Maximum Relative air humidity: 90% (non-condensing).
The combustion engine on the machine means that the area around the exhaust outlet (opposite
the AC output) gets very hot – risk of burn injuries.
