TROUBLESHOOTING
Fault Cause Action
The motor will not start Empty the petrol tank Fill the petrol tank
The primer has not been pressed
in enough Press the primer slowly and fully 10
times
The motor has flooded Start the machine with the choke
control in position B
Old or improperly mixed fuel Empty the tank and refill with a new
petrol mix
Dirty spark plug Replace or clean spark plug
The motor will not idle The air filter is clogged Replace or clean the air filter
Old or improperly mixed fuel Empty the tank and refill with a new
petrol mix
The carburettor is incorrectly set Take the machine to an authorised
service centre for adjustment of the
carburettor
The motor speed does
not increase Old or improperly mixed fuel Empty the tank and refill with a new
