Other safety precautions

Let the motor cool before storing or transporting the machine. Secure the machine during transport.

When not in use, store the machine in a dry place out of the reach of children.

The machine may not be immersed in, or washed with, water or other liquids.

Keep the handles clean, dry and free of dirt. Clean after each use. See instructions for cleaning
and storage.

The following international symbols, safety symbols and pictograms are attached to the product.
The manual provides detailed information on safety, installation, operation, maintenance and repairs.
Symbol Meaning
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Indicates danger, warning or important information. Can be used together with other
symbols or pictograms.
WARNING! - READ THE MANUAL
Read the manual and observe all the warnings and safety instructions.
Failure to do this could lead to serious injuries.
WEAR EYE AND EAR PROTECTION
WARNING! Items that break loose and loud noises can cause severe damage to
the eyes and ears. Always use eye and ear protection when working with the
machine.
KEEP BYSTANDERS AT A SAFE DISTANCE
WARNING! Keep bystanders, especially children and pets, at least 15 metres from
the work area.
PRIMING
Press the primer slowly and fully twice.
UNLEADED PETROL
Always use clean, fresh unleaded petrol.
OIL
See the manual for information on the correct oil type.
OBJECTS THAT BLOW OUT COULD CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY
WARNING! Stay away from the discharge. Never point the blower at yourself or
others. Objects can be ejected from the blower. Do not use the blower without the
proper accessories and guards fitted.
