Removing and fitting the battery
1.
To remove the battery, press the battery
catches on each side of the battery and pull
out.
2.
Fit the battery by aligning the strip on the
battery with the slot in the tool and pressing
the battery in place.
3.
Check that the battery is properly locked in
place before using the tool.
Charging the battery
IMPORTANT:
Unplug the charger's power cord
before inserting or removing the battery.
IMPORTANT:
It normally takes 0.5 hours to fully
charge the battery. Remove the battery from the
charger when it is fully charged.
The battery for this power tool only has a low charge on delivery. The battery must be charged before the
power tool can be used.

Check that the voltage indicated on the type plate corresponds to the mains supply voltage.
2.
Plug in the power cord, align the strip on the battery to the slot in the charger and press the battery in
place.
3.
Insert the battery in the charger. The charger measures the battery charging status.
The charging indictor flashes green when the battery is charging. When the battery is fully charged the
indicator on the charger shines with a steady green light. The red indicator lamp flashes if there is poor
contact between the battery and charger, or if the battery is defective.
The battery and charger get warm when charging. This is quite normal.
4.
If several batteries are to be charged, unplug the power cord and wait at least 15 minutes before
charging the next battery.
5.
Always unplug the power cord to the charger when the charger is not in use.
