Air pressure
Before the tyre pressures before use.
The tyre pressure should be 1.4–1.7 bar for
best functionality. Check the tyre pressure
with a tyre pressure gauge. Use a small
compressor to pump up the tyres.
WARNING!
Do not pump too much air into the tyres.
This can cause the tyres to burst, which
can result in serious personal injury and/or
material damage.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Switch off the engine and disengage all the
levers before servicing, repairs, or inspection.
Wait until all moving parts have come to a
complete standstill. Loosen the spark plug
lead and earth it against the engine to
prevent unintentional starting. Always wear
safety glasses when working with or on the
snowblower.
ENGINE
See the table for engine maintenance.
Changing the oil
NOTE:
Always check the oil level before using the
machine, and every five working hours.
1. Drain the fuel tank by running the engine
until the fuel tank is empty. Check that the
fuel cap is properly tightened.
2. Remove the drain plug.
3. Drain the oil with an oil change pump.
4. Replace the drain plug and tighten.
5. Fill up with oil of the recommended grade
stop the engine. Wait until all moving
parts have completely stopped and
adjust the auger wire.
• Run a function check before the product
is used for the first time, and before
using it at the start of the season.
SWITCHING OFF
Follow the instructions below to switch off the
snowblower after use.
1. Run the auger for 30 seconds to remove
any residual snow in the snowblower.
2. Stop the auger by releasing the left
handle.
3. Pull out the safety key.
4. Remove all the snow and ice on the
snowblower, and in the auger housing
and ejector.
AFTER USE
Clearing the ejector
If the ejector or auger housing is blocked
by snow, switch off the engine, release the
spark plug lead from the spark plug, and wait
until all moving parts have stopped. Remove
the blockage with the clearing tool or other
suitable implement.
WARNING!
Never attempt to clear the ejector with your
hands. Switch off the engine and wait until
all moving parts have completely stopped
before clearing the auger housing. Always
use the supplied clearing tool to clear the
ejector. Never go in front of the snowblower
when it is running.
