• Plan the work so that thrown snow does
not hit windows, walls, cars, etc., to avoid
the risk of damage to property and/or
personal injury.
• Do not point the ejector chute at people
or animals, and make sure no one goes in
front of the product.
• Do not overload the product by trying to
remove too much snow too quickly.
• Never use the product in poor visibility or
bad light. Keep a firm footing and good
balance at all times, and keep a firm grip
on the handle. Never run with the
product.
• Disengage the auger drive during
transport and when the product is not
in use.
• Never run the product fast on slippery
surfaces. Be very careful when going
backwards or pulling the product towards
you.
• Never put your hands in the ejector or
intake openings. Always use the supplied
clearing tool to clear the ejector.
Never attempt to clear the ejector when
the engine is running. Switch off the
engine, put all the controls in neutral and
wait until all moving parts have
completely stopped before moving away
from behind the handle to clear the
ejector.
• Only use the parts and accessories
recommended by the manufacturer.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
• Never modify the safety devices in any
way. Regularly check that all safety devices
are in place and are working properly.
• Switch off the engine, put all the controls
in neutral and wait until all moving parts
have completely stopped before doing
repairs, lubricating and/or inspection.
Loosen the spark plug lead and earth it
• Replace and tighten the cap on the tank.
• Wipe up spilled fuel immediately.
Move the product away from the filling
area before starting. Wait 5 minutes
before starting the engine.
• Never store the product or fuel container
indoors where there are sources of heat,
such as a boiler, water heater, tumble
drier and electric motors that could emit
sparks, in order to avoid the risk of
igniting fuel vapour.
• Allow the product to cool for at least
5 minutes before putting it away.
HOW TO USE
• Keep your hands and feet away from
moving parts – risk of serious personal
injury and/or death.
• Never attempt to bypass or deactivate the
function of the auger lever – risk of
serious personal injury.
• It must be possible to move control levers
in both directions and they must
automatically return to the neutral
position when released.
• Do not use the product if the ejector chute
is missing or damaged. The safety devices
must be fitted correctly and work properly.
• Never start the engine indoors or in an
enclosed area. Exhaust fumes from
the engine contain carbon monoxide,
an odourless and highly dangerous gas.
• Never use the product when you are tired
or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication.
• The muffler and engine become hot – risk
of burn injuries. Keep onlookers, especially
children, and pets at a safe distance.
• Be careful when working on or crossing
entrances, roads, etc.
• Pay attention to traffic and hidden
danger.
• Be very careful when changing direction,
and when using on slopes.
