damage the plastic parts on the machine.
Make sure that no liquid gets into the
machine. There is an increased risk of
electric shock if water gets into a power
tool.
CHIPPINGS BAG (DIAGRAMS 1-3)
The saw has a chippings bag (27). Open the zip
underneath to empty the bag (27).
REPLACING THE SAW BLADE
WARNING!
• Always pull out the plug before
changing the saw blade.
• Wear gloves when changing the blade
to prevent injury.
• After replacing the saw blade, check that
the guard (6) opens and closes as it
should. Check also that the saw blade
(7) runs freely in the guard (6).
• Check after changing the saw blade that
it runs freely in the slot on the saw table
(16) when it is perpendicular and at 45°.
• Replace a worn or damaged saw plate
(16) immediately.
• Undo the screws in the saw plate (16)
and remove it from the fixed table (18).
Fit the new saw plate (16) in the reverse
order.
• The saw blade (7) must be replaced and
adjusted in accordance with the
instructions.
• Swing up the machine head (4).
• Press in the saw spindle lock (5) with one
hand and hold the hex key (45) on the
flange screw (38) with the other hand.
The spindle lock (5) clicks in place after
one turn.
• Now undo the flange screw (38)
clockwise.
• Unscrew the flange screw (38) completely
and remove the spacer washer (40) and
outer flange (39).
LIMITING THE SAWING DEPTH
(DIAGRAM 20)
• The sawing depth can be adjusted with
the screw (34).
• Undo the screw (34) with a Phillips
screwdriver (sold separately) so that the
stop plate can move. Move the stop plate
(33) as close as possible to the saw blade
and then tighten the screw (34) again.
• The sawing depth can be variably adjusted
with the screw handle (31). Undo the
check nut (32) and set the required
sawing depth by screwing the screw
handle (31) in or out. Tighten the check
nut (32) on the handle (31) again.
• Check the setting on a test-piece.
USE THE LASER (DIAGRAM 1, 32)
Start the laser by putting the power switch (42)
in the position for the laser symbol. A laser
line is projected on the workpiece to be sawn
to show exactly where the saw line is. Put the
power switch (42) in the OFF position to switch
off the laser.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Always pull out the plug before maintaining
or cleaning the saw.
CLEANING
• Clean the saw every time it has been used
for best functionality and life span.
• Keep safety devices, ventilation openings
and the motor casing as free as possible
