Sterilization step
Sterile gloves must be worn during disinfection / sterilization to avoid
infection;
The probe must be cleaned before disinfection / sterilization; it is
recommended to disinfect / sterilize the probe using the solution in the
table below:

Note:
1.
Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for disinfectant concentration, disinfection method and
dilution method.

Activators are used for glutaraldehyde solutions.
3.
Rinse thoroughly with sterile water to remove any residual chemicals from the probe;
4.
Wipe the surface of the probe with a sterile cloth or gauze. Do not allow the probe to dry by heating.
Clean the probe cup
Every day, a soft cloth or brush must be used to clean and clean the
probe cover. No residual coupling agent will be left. Otherwise, the
ultrasonic coupling agent will coagulate on the probe acoustic lens to
affect the ultrasonic image quality. It is recommended to use clean water
and pure water, try not to use scrubbing liquid to clean.
Disinfection and sterilization of the probe may lead to discoloration of the
acoustic lens or color fading of the text on the probe label, which is a
normal phenomenon.
