EMC
All types of electronic equipment may cause electromagnetic interference to other
equipment through air or connecting cables. The term “electromagnetic compatibility
(EMC)” means the ability of a device to suppress the effects of electromagnetic
interference generated by other devices while not affecting other devices by similar
electromagnetic radiation. Radiation or conductive EMC may distort, degrade, or artifact
the ultrasound image, making the diagnostic information obscure. The Company does not
guarantee that interference will not occur during the installation. Turn the device on and off
to determine if the device is generating interference or reactive to interference.
Personnel should attempt to resolve a problem by taking one or more of the following
measures:
Adjust the location or direction of the affected equipment.
Increase the distance between the equipment and the affected
equipment.
