Scheduled Disc Recording
Scheduling a Recording
You can schedule up to 8 different programs with your DVD recorder.
1. Make sure that the correct time and date are set on your DVD recorder.
2. Place an initialized DVD+R or
DVD+RW disc in the DVD
recorder.
3. Press
SETUP
on your remote
control to enter the setup
menu. Use the
buttons to
select the “Record” menu, then
press the
button to enter the
menu, next use the
buttons
to select “Schedule Record”, finally press the
button to enter the menu.
4. Use
the
buttons to select the first available record program (ID # 1-8).
5. Press
the button to schedule a recording for the selected ID #.

Set the date for your recording
: Use the
buttons to choose between Wkly Sun,
Wkly Sat, Wkly Fri, Wkly Thu, Wkly Wed, Wkly Tue, Wkly Mon, Daily, Mon-Fri or Once.
If once is selected use the
buttons to move the cursor and #’s 0-9 to input the
date (mm/dd/yy)

Set the start time for your recording
: Use the
buttons to move the cursor and
either the
buttons or #’s 0-9 to set the time. Next, use the
buttons to
select AM or PM.
8.
Set the stop time
: Use the
buttons to move the cursor and either the
buttons or #’s 0-9 to set the time. Next, use the
buttons to select AM or PM.
9.
Set the Mode (quality)
: Use the
buttons to move the cursor to the mode field,
and then use the
buttons to select the desired mode. More information about
quality levels is included on page
39
.
10.
Set the source
: Use the
buttons to move the cursor to the source field, and
then use the
buttons to select the source for your recording.
11.
Confirm your settings
: Use the
buttons to move the cursor to the green arrow
to confirm and save settings or the red X to cancel settings. Press
ENTER
to confirm.
12. When you are done, press
SETUP
again to leave the setup menu.
13. Turn off recorder prior to the start of your scheduled program. If unit is left on the
scheduled programs will not record.
