Settings menu
Open settings menu
In radio mode, hold down the
S E L
button for around 3 seconds. You will reach
the settings menu.
Repeatedly press the
S E L
button briefly to call up the required function.
Turn the dial to change the setting of a function.
The settings are saved automatically as soon as the display switches back to radio
mode.
Adjustable functions
Acoustic signal during operation (BEEP ON or BEEP OFF)
•
BE EP ON
: A signal sounds if a button is pressed for a long time.
•
BEEP OFF
: Acoustic signal off.
Volume when the car radio is switched on (P-VOL)
• After switching on, a fixed volume setting is adopted, which you can set in the
menu.
Press the dial/butto n, to access the
P VOL
setting. Use the dial/button to set the
volume level that is to be adopted when you next switch on.
The lowest value is 10.
Select the frequency area (AREA EUR or AREA USA)
•
AREA EUR
: Set the frequency area for Europe.
•
AREA USA
: Set the frequency area for America.
Set the time format (HOUR 24H or HOUR 12H)
•
HOUR 24H
: The time is displayed in 24-hour format.
•
HOUR 12H
: The time is displayed in 12-hour format.
Set the time display when the radio is switched off (PCLK ON or
PCLK OFF)
•
PCLK ON
: The time is displayed when the radio is switched off.
•
PCLK OFF
: The time is not displayed when the radio is switched off.
Leaving the reception range (TA SEEK or TA ALARM)
•
TA SEEK
: If you leave the reception range or if the signal for traffic announce-
ments becomes weaker, the search process begins and searches for the strongest
TA station (station with traffic announcements).
•
TA ALARM
: If you leave the reception area or the signal for traffic announce-
ments becomes weaker an alarm signal sounds.
