With an AV adapter
Connect the AV adapter with the AV socket on the LCD TV.
Connect a stereo cinch cable (red and white plugs) with the AV adapter and the
audio outputs on the external device.
Connect a video cinch cable (yellow plug) with the AV adapter and the video
output on the external device.
NOTICE!
Use only the AV adapter supplied.
7.5. Connecting a video recorder
Connect an antenna cable to the antenna socket on the LCD TV and to the an-
tenna output on the video recorder.
Connect an additional antenna cable to the antenna input on the video recorder
and to the antenna socket on the wall.
You can also use a SCART cable to connect the LCD TV and the video recorder. This
is recommended for high picture and sound quality. A SCART socket is necessary if
you wish to transfer stereo sound.
Connect the SCART cable to the SCART socket on the LCD TV.
Connect the other end of the SCART cable to the SCART OUT socket on the vid-
eo recorder.
7.6. Connecting a DVD recorder
Connect one end of the SCART cable to the SCART OUT socket on the DVD re-
corder.
Connect the other end of the SCART cable to the SCART socket on the LCD TV.
Connect an antenna cable to the antenna socket on the LCD TV and to the an-
tenna output on the DVD recorder.
Connect an additional antenna cable to the antenna input on the DVD recorder
and to the antenna socket on the wall.
7.7. Connecting a receiver (satellite, DVB-T, decoder,
etc.)
There are different options for connecting a receiver (e.g. satellite receiver, DVB-T re-
ceiver, decoder, set-top box) to your LCD TV.
With a HDMI cable
If the receiver has a HDMI output, make the connection using a HDMI cable. No
additional cable is required for sound transmission.
