• Remove depleted or leaking batteries immediate-
ly and avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous
membranes. If any of these areas come into con-
tact with battery acid, rinse them immediately with
plenty of clean water and consult a doctor as soon
as possible. Clean the contacts before inserting a
new battery. There is a risk of chemical burns from
battery acid!
• Always remove depleted batteries from the device.
1.5. Cleaning
• Clean the device with a dry or slightly moist, lint
free cloth. Do not use any corrosive or aggressive
cleaning products.
1.5.1. Scope of application
This universal remote control has 10 source keys and
therefore can replace up to 10 normal remote controls
(“10-in-1 function”). These may be remote controls
for almost every type of remote-controlled consumer
electronic device (see the code list supplied).
The abbreviations “TV”, “VCR”, “DVD”, “CD”, “SAT”, “AU-
DIO”, “AUX1”, “AUX2”“AUX3”, “DVB” on the buttons serve
as a guide to assist the user. With the exception of the
TV button, you can assign any button to any device
(“flex mode”). Please refer to the section “Program-
ming device codes” on page 12 for instructions on pro-
gramming the codes.
