2) LCD fails to illuminate:
i.
Check for power as 1) Stand won’t turn on:
ii.
Check loom connections are correctly wired to front panel PCB and
the motor control PCB.
iii.
Check the SPI loom which connects the front panel PCB and motor
control PCB.
iv.
Check continuity of looms using a D.V.M.
v.
Check the connection between the front panel PCB and the LCD.
vi.
If all above are ok, replace LCD and front panel PCB.
3) LCD illuminates but has no display:
i.
Check loom connections are correctly wired to front panel PCB and
the motor control PCB.
ii.
Check the connection between the front panel PCB and the LCD.
iii.
Check the SPI loom which connects the front panel PCB and motor
control PCB.
iv.
Check continuity of looms using a D.V.M.
v.
Check MCB between TP 4 and TP 1 for a voltage of 5V DC. (if
present move to vii). If it is not present, disconnect all looms except
the transformer, then re-measure between TP 4 and TP 1. If the 5V
DC is still not present, replace MCB
vi.
Replace looms one at a time, each time checking for 5V DC
vii.
Reprogram front panel PCB.
vii.
If none of the above works replace the LCD and front panel PCB.
4) Error 02 is displayed on screen:
If using a 110V mains supply ensure that the mains inlet fuse carriage is
correctly orientated.
i.
Check tachometer loom is correctly connected to the motor and the
motor control PCB.
ii.
Check continuity of loom using a D.V.M.
iii.
Check the power cables and transformer loom are correctly
connected.
iv.
Check continuity of above looms using a D.V.M.
v.
Check the motor control PCB U1 and U5 for discoloration or damage,
if found replace PCB
vi.
If all of the above are ok then change the motor control PCB.
vii.
If this still fails to correct the issue replace the motor.
