24. AFG & AFTI Analogue Output.
300-157-V01 AFG PCB: February 2008, a change has been made to the PCB to help
reduce costs. The PCB can now be purchased without the analogue calibration
circuitry
300-157-v02 AFG PCB without analogue calibration circuitry.
300-157-v03 AFG PCB with analogue calibration circuitry.
Internal Load cell (No load applied)
Pin 10 to Pin 1: ~0.0V (Non calibrated Analogue output can range between -4.0V to
+4.0V with offset ~0.0V)
Pin 10 to Pin 1: ~0.0V (Calibrated Analogue output will range between -4.0V to +4.0V
with offset 0.0V)
Pin 9 to Pin 1: ~5.0V (Footswitch input)
Non calibrated analogue output range and offset for internal load cell will be
dependant the on mV/V and offset of load cell and analogue circuit of the AFG.
External Load cell (No load applied)
Pin 10 to Pin 1: ~1.25V (Non calibrated Analogue output can range between 0.0V to
+2.5V with offset ~1.25V)
Pin 9 to Pin 1: ~0.0V (Non calibrated Analogue output can range between -1.25V to
+1.25V with offset ~0.0V)
Non calibrated analogue output range and offset of the external load cell will be
dependant on mV/V and offset of load cell sensor will not be affected by the
AFG/AFTI it is attached to.
The AFG/AFTI Analogue output functions as follows:
When no 'smart' sensor is connected:
· Analogue output is taken from Pin 1 (+ve) and Pin 10 (-ve)
· The foot-switch can be connected across Pin 9 and Pin 10
When a 'smart' sensor is connected:
· Analogue output is taken from Pin 1 (+ve) and Pin 9 (-ve)
· Under absolutely no circumstances should a foot-switch be connected
