In order to obtain maximum performance of the batteries it is necessary to fully charge
each of the batteries before their first use. The battery shall be charged up to 90%. Next
you must discharge the battery by moving the wheelchair, preferably close to the site
where you can easily charge the batteries again. After discharging the battery completely
you should recharge it fully (8
–
14 hours). After about 4 - 5 charging cycles the battery
will have reached 100% of its capabilities.
Operating instructions
Before you get onto your power chair check:
that the seat is set at the correct height,
that it is properly locked,
if the the control panel is properly located,
to see if any other parameters are adjusted according to your needs,
to see if the horn and light work,
Plan your route in such a way as to avoid obstacles impossible to surmount
for the wheelchair.
ATTENTION
Never get out of the wheelchair or never get onto the wheelchair without first
making sure that the key is removed from the ignition switch to prevent unexpected
motion from inadvertently contacting the drive lever.

Using the wheelchair
Before getting onto the wheelchair make sure that the key is not in the
ignition.
Turn the seat in such a way so as to facilitate getting in.
Perform the transfer to the seat.
Once again turn the seat into the correct position and make sure that it is in
locked position.
Sit back and fasten your seat belts. Check the angle of the backrest so that
you have proper visibility and are able to drive the chair efficiently.
Make sure your feet rest firmly on the footrest.
Propelling the wheelchair
Keep both hands on the steering wheel and your feet firmly placed on the footrest
such a position gives you the best possible control over your chair.
Fuse cutting off the power
The wheelchair is fitted with a fuse, which cuts off the power if the key is left in the
ignition (turned to “on” position) for a period longer than 20 min.
Even though the
power supply will be cut off the system supplying power to the light shall be fully
operational. If you want to restart wheelchair turn the key to "off" and then back to
"on" thus normal power will be restored to the wheelchair.

Propulsione della sedia a rotelle
Tenere entrambe le mani sul volante ei piedi ben posizionati sul poggiapiedi in modo tale
da ottenere il miglior controllo possibile sulla sedia.
Fusibile che interrompe la corrente
La carrozzina è dotata di un fusibile, che interrompe l’alimentazione se la chiave viene
lasciata nell’accensione (girata in posizione “on”) per un periodo superiore a 20 minuti.
Anche se l’alimentazione elettrica viene interrotta, il sistema che alimenta la luce deve
essere pienamente operativo. Se si desidera riavviare la sedia a rotelle, ruotare la chiave
su “off” e quindi su “on” per ripristinare la normale alimentazione sulla sedia a rotelle.
