Description:
This chart shows the indicated airspeed to use for the best rate of climb at
any given density altitude.
Use of Chart:
Use the chart as illustrated by the example below.
Example:
WANTED: Best rate of climb
KNOWN: Density altitude = 11,000 feet
METHOD: Enter the left side of chart at the known density altitude of
11,000 feet. Move to the right along line and read 61 knots indicated air$
speed (IAS) as the best rate of climb.
