ALTITUDE SWITCH
Movement of the altitude switch to the ALT position
causes the aircraft to maintain the barometric
altitude at actuation.
If the mode is engaged in a climb or dive, the
aircraft will return to the barometric altitude existing
at the time of altitude switch engagement.
The altitude switch cannot be engaged in climbs or
descents in excess of 4000 feet per minute.
The mode cannot be engaged if any force is being
applied to the control stick.
The switch will move automatically to the OFF
position whenever control stick steering mode is
engaged.
