3.1.6 Display of total count of sheets
The total count of sheets from the date of purchase can be displayed by following the steps described
below.
(1) Press the “SET” key to switch the mode to Set (the SET indicator lamp will come on).
(2) Hold down the “9” key.
The value calculated by multiplying the number indicated by the counter by 1000 is the actual total
count of sheets.
*The count of sheets is smaller than 1000, “0” w ill be displayed.
To reset the counter to regular display mode, press the “RESET” key.
3.1.7 Setting paper feed pressure
- Position the paper feed pressure shift lever at [2] for
normal jobs (ordinary paper).
- Four different degrees of pressure can be selected for
Stations 1 and 10.
- Three different degrees of pressure can be selected for
Stations 2 to 9.
- Select [1] (weak) when double feed occurs.
- Select [3] (strong) when paper feed slip occurs.
3.1.8 Setting separator pressure

For regular jobs processing ordinary paper, set
the separator pressure shift lever at [2]. Remove
the paper feed table when changing separator
pressure.
- Three different degrees of pressure can be
selected for all stations.
- Select [1] (weak) when paper feed slip occurs.
- Select [3] (strong) when double feed occurs.
* While separator pressure is classified as [1],
[2] and [3] on the collator display, for special
cases, [4] is built in next to [3]. Use this when
double feed is so frequent that [3] cannot
prevent it.
