2.1.2 Cleaning of Paper Ejection sheet photo sensor

When the paper dust adheres to the surface of the

Paper Ejection photo sensor (contained in the

part indicated by the arrow shown in the figure below) and will shut off the sensor light, it
becomes paper discharge jam.

Please regularly clean the paper output photo sensor.

How to Clean

Put a cotton swab

from the “

eye

hole” of paper

ejection guide, to clean the surface of the photo

sensor.

The Paper Ejection sheet photo sensor (a miniature bulb of approximately 5 mm in diameter) is

visible from the “eye

hole.”
