CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
■
Do not use any sharp or abrasive clean-
ing agents or cleaning pads to clean the
device. These may damage the surfaces.
•
Wipe residues of styling products off the
heating plates (
1
) immediately after use.
Use a soft damp cloth to do this.
•
Also wipe down the rest of the device
parts with a soft damp cloth if necessary.
Then dry.
•
Press together the heating plates and
slide the locking catch (
5
) inwards (to-
wards the heating plates).
•
Store in the storage case
which is also
supplied in a cool, dry place which is out
of the reach of children and animals.
•
Wipe down the storage case with a damp
cloth if necessary.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly, check
whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved
with the steps below, contact the customer
service department.
Do not attempt to repair an electri-
cal device yourself!
The device does not work.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug
socket correctly.

Correct the fit of the mains plug.
The plug socket is defective.
►
Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
►
Check the fuse of the mains connection.
Odour produced
The heating plates (
1
) are dirty.
►
Clean the heating plates (see the
“Cleaning and Storage” chapter).
