Hot Keys

(Shortcut key combinations with special functions)

To activate the hot keys, press and hold down the Fn key and then press the desired addi-

tional key. For certain functions it may be necessary to install a driver or additional software. 

Please refer to the ‘Installation Instructions’ section.

Switches between LC display/monitor/both.

Fn + F3

Activates/deactivates the TouchPad.

Fn + F4

Reduces LCD brightness.

Fn + F5

Increases LCD brightness.

Fn + F7

Turns down the volume.

Fn + F8

Turns up the volume.

Fn + F9

Switches the loudspeakers on/off.

Fn + F12

Switches to power save mode.

The Quick Launch Buttons

The quick launch buttons are located just above the keyboard. You can use these to launch 

frequently used applications.
