When this item is enabled, multiple VGA
devices operating on different buses can handle
data from the CPU on each set of palette
registers on every video device.
Assign IRQ for

If this item is enabled, an IRQ will be assigned
to the VGA graphics system. We recommend
that you set this value to No.
DMA Channel X
If you set this to PnP, the system will
dynamically allocate DMA channels as they are
required. If you set a DMA channel to ISA/EISA,
it will be reserved for a non-plug and play ISA
or EISA device.
IRQ X
If you set this to PCI/PnP, the system will
dynamically allocate IRQs as they are required.
If you set an IRQ to ISA/EISA, it will be
reserved for a non-plug and play ISA or EISA
device.

Size
This item lets you reserve a block of memory
for any device that requires it.

of memory that has been reserved.

press Y, and then Enter, the setup utility is loaded with a set of
optimal default values. The optimal default values are not very
demanding and they should allow your system to function with
most kinds of hardware and memory chips.

press Y, and then Enter, the setup utility is loaded with a set of
best-performance default values. The optimal default values are
quite demanding and your system might not function properly if
you are using slower memory chips or other kinds of low-
performance components.
