Cross cuts

1. A cross cut is made across the grain
of the work piece. A 90° cross cut is
carried out by setting the stop rail

perpendicular to the saw blade

2. Place the work piece you intend to cut
flat on the rotating bench and secure
it with the clamping device

. If the
work piece is curved, place the side
which is curved outwards against the
bench insert

. If the side which is
curved inwards is placed against the
bench insert, the work piece may snap
and jam the saw blade.
3. Push the ON button

to switch the
saw on.
4. Push the release lever for the saw blade

5. Wait a moment until the saw blade reaches maximum speed.
6. Push the saw head all the way down and slowly and evenly lower the saw blade
through the work piece.
7. Once you have performed the cut, push the OFF button

and wait until the saw
blade has come to a stop before you swing the saw head up.
8. Only remove the work piece once the saw blade is no longer moving.
If the saw blade jams:
1. Switch the saw off and swing the saw head up.
2. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
3. Remove the cause of the blockage. Wear suitable protective gloves for this.
4. Then use your hand to turn the saw blade to check for proper rotation.

Mitre cuts
The rotating bench can be set to the right and left up to an angle of 45°.
