− Avoid exposing the batteries to intense heat such as direct sunlight or
storage on a radiator.
Supplementary safety instructions
− Only connect the saw if the mains voltage of the socket corresponds to the
specification on the rating plate.
− Only connect the saw to an easily accessible socket so that you can quickly
disconnect it from the mains in case of a failure.
− Never touch the saw or the mains plug with damp hands.
− Lay the mains cord so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
− Do not kink the mains cord and do not lay it over sharp edges.
− Completely unwind the cord if you are using a cord reel to prevent the cord
from heating up.
− Never switch the laser on or off while the saw is running.
− Never subject the saw to high temperatures or to the effects of the weather.
− When working outdoors, only use sockets with a fault current protection
switch.
− Do not leave the saw unattended while in use.
First use
Checking the saw and pack contents
1. Lift the saw out of the packaging with both hands.
2. Place the saw on a level, stable base, e.g. on a workbench.
3. Check whether the saw or the individual parts exhibit damages. If this is the case,
do not use the saw. Contact the manufacturer at the service address specified on
the warranty card.
4. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete.
Preparing the saw for operation
Before you are able to use the saw, you must prepare it for operation.
1. Make sure that all covers and safety devices have been properly mounted.
2. The saw blade must be able to rotate unimpaired.
3. Check that all moving parts move freely.
4. Before connecting the saw, compare the data on the rating plate with the mains
data.
