3. Place the appropriate accessory in the unit for your selected cooking feature and close the cover.
To start preheating press START / STOP. While the device is preheating, insert the probe in the
middle of the thickest part of the largest piece of protein, close (but not touching) the bone. DO NOT
insert the probe either vertically or at an angle, as it does not provide accurate reading.
4. When the device has preheated and the "Add Food" flashes on the screen, open the cover, put
food inside the device and close the cover over the cord of the probe. The monitor will now show the
reading of the temp probe as it cooks the food.
4. Press START/STOP to begin preheating. PRE will appear on the display screen, and the progress
bar will begin. It can take approximately 4 minutes.
5. Display will show 'Add food' when preheating is completed.
6. Open the cover and put the ingredients on the grill. When the cover is closed, cooking begins and
the timer counts down.
NOTE: If you just want to use the temp probe for testing your food’s temperature press TEMP ACE
button for 2 seconds and the internal temperature of the food will appear on the screen for 5
seconds. When the screen starts flashing, you weren't holding the button long enough. Refer to the
page about Troubleshooting.
7. The device will beep when cook time is through, and END appears on the display screen. Push
TIME up arrow and push START / STOP if you need to add more time to cook the food. When using
the detector the time change varies. Page 9, phase 6b of reference, when using the probe

8. Keep the cover open after removing the food, so that the machine can cool down faster. After
cooking, the stainless steel cover on the outside of the unit will be hot.
NOTE: When Cooking same food in batch, refer to the instructions at the bottom of page 7.
5. When your food inside hits the temperature you set, the device will beep and the display shows
‘End’. Press TEMP ACE button for 2 sec, the display will go on showing the internal food temperature.
6a. Temp probe cooking complete:
Remove protein from the unit, insert the probe and position it on a plate for a minimum of 5 minutes
to rest. When it is cooking, the protein should carry over to rest. If it hits the temperature of carry-over
cook on the chart from previous page you're complete with the cooking.
6b. Cooking more food without the Temp probe:
If you use the same feature to cook more food but do not need to use the probe, simply press
START/STOP to restart. Then press the TIME arrow to set a new cook time. Change the temperature
of the function, if applicable. To get started click START / STOP. If you use a different function to cook
more food, pick that function before setting the new time and temperature for cook.
NOTE: You can test the food's internal temperature at any time, even if it does not run a cook
feature. Only click the Temp button for 2 seconds.
6c. Cooking same food in batch with the Temp probe:
If you are cooking same food (meat) in batch, remove the probe from the cooked protein and place it
in the center of the largest uncooked protein portion. Click the TEMP button, set the internal tempera-
ture you want and click START / STOP. "Add Food" will show, let the device run for about 3 minutes
until the cover is opened and add the next batch of protein. Then, take step 5.
TYPES OF COOKING
Make sure the machine is plugged in before turning it on then tap the power button.
GRILL
1. Place the cooking pot on the main unit with the indent on the pot corresponding to the rear bump.
Then through the grill with the handles facing up into the bowl. Make sure the splatter guard is in
place and close the cover.
2. Tap GRILL button. The default temperature level on the left side of the control panel will light, and
the corresponding air temperature will appear on the display screen. To change the temperature
setting, press the Grill button, or the up and down TEMP arrows.
3. Click the TIME arrows up and down to set the cook time, in approximately 1 minute, up to 30
minutes, or follow the instructions on page 8 to adjust the temperature of a probe using the TEMP
ACE button.
TROUBLESHOOTING | FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
• Add Food shows on the display screen.
The machine has finished its preheating Grill and now it's time to add your ingredients.
• Shut Lid shows on the display screen.
The cover is open, and the selected function needs to be closed to start.
• Add Pot shows on the display screen.
The pot is not installed within the machine.
• Plug In shows on the display screen.
The temp probe on the right hand side of the display panel is not plugged into the socket. Plug the
temp probe in before proceeding.
• E shows on the display screen.
The machine is not working properly. Contact customer service at the email address you will find on
the guarantee certificate. If you prefer to telephone, please keep the product at hand.
• After I press the START/STOP button, blinking lights appear.
It is a progress bar which indicates how far you are in the preheating process.
• The preheat progress bar do not start from the beginning?
If the unit is warm from being used previously, it won't take the maximum time to preheat.
• Cancelling or overriding the preheating.
Preheating is highly recommended for better results but after pressing the START / STOP button,
you can skip preheating by selecting the function again. But when using the Grill function, you can
not disable preheating.
• Does my ingredients be added before or after preheating?
Let the machine preheat up before adding ingredients for better results.
• My unit producing smoke, is it normal?
Always select the recommended temperature setting when using the Grill function. Supported
settings are available in both the Quick Start Guide and the Inspiration Guide. Make sure to install
the splatter guard.
• Can I pause the machine to check my food?
The device automatically pause when the cover is opened during a cooking process.
• Can I put the cooking pot on my countertop? Is it safe?
During cooking the pot will heat up. Use care when treating, and only put on surfaces that are
suitable for heat.
• My food got burned.
Do not add food until you have completed required preheat period. Track progress in the cooking
for better results, and remove food when desired brownness level is reached.
To stop overcooking, remove the food directly after the cooking time is done.
• Why did my food didn’t cook when air crisping?
Assure that products are placed in an even layer at the bottom of the cooking pot with no mixing for
smooth browning. Shake loose ingredients for a consistent crispiness during cooking.
• When air crisping my food tossing around?
Sometimes, the fan blows around lightweight foods. Secure loose foods (like the top slice of bread
on a sandwich) with toothpicks to avoid this.
• For fresh battered ingredients, can I air crisp them ?
Sure but use the correct technique of breading. Foods should be filled first with flour, then with
butter, and then with crumbs of bread. Firmly press the crumbs of bread onto the food so that they
remain in place. Strong fan of the device can blown off loose breading.
• Why is the output of the Display panel not lit any more?
The machine is switched off. To turn it back on press the Power button.
• How to turn off the temp probe when cooking?
To set the probe to 'OFF' press START/OFF to restart.
• Can I use the probe for food inspection when the device is not cooking in TEMP mode?
Yes, simply insert the probe into the food, then press the TEMP ACE button for 2 seconds and the
internal temperature of the food will appear on the screen for 5 seconds. When you do not hold
down the button for 2 seconds in full, the device will switch to TEMP ACE mode, as this mode is
triggered by pressing the button faster. If it does, "165F" will appear 5 times on the screen. After
that, click the TEMP ACE button again, then click the down arrow TEMP until the display of the
control panel displays "OFF." The unit then returns to your set cook task, and the timer counts down
again.
• My food overcooked or undercooked even though I used the Temp Probe?
To get the most accurate reading, it is important to insert the temperature probe length-wise into the
thickest part of the ingredient. See section Using the temp probe for more detail.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
After any use the machine should be thoroughly cleaned. Have the device as well to cool
before cleaning.
• Unplug the machine before wiping out the wall socket. Keep the cover open after removing the
food, so that the machine can cool down faster.
• Besides the temp probe, splatter guard, and any other accessories included are dishwasher safe.
DO NOT place the thermal probe in the dishwasher.
• Use cleaning brush while hand-washing to help wash the pieces. After washing, dry with air-dry or
towel-dry after hand washing.
NOTE: DO NOT use liquid-cleaning solution on or near the socket of the probe. To prevent damage
to the socket we consider using compressed air or a cotton swab.
• If food residue or grease is stuck on the grill, splatter guard, or any other removable component,
place it in a sink or put it in the pot and fill it with warm, soapy water, allowing it to soak for a few
hours or overnight. Using the cleaning brush after soaking, to clean every portion.
• With time, the front tabs and frame splatter screen can accumulate grease buildup. Soaking the
splatter guard overnight can help smooth the oil that has been rubbed on. Using the cleaning brush
after soaking to clear the grease from the front tabs and the stainless steel frame.
• Soak the steel temp probe and silicone grip in warm, soapy water to deep clean the temp probe.
DO NOT drop the cord or plug into water, or some other material.
NOTE: DO NOT use corrosive tool or cleaning devices. NEVER sink the main device into water or
some other material.
