INSTALLINg THe SAw bLAde
(fig 3)
1. Unplug the jigsaw from the power supply.
2. Turn the tool upside down, depress the tool-less
blade clamp, and insert the blade into the slot of the
clamp as far as it can go. The back of the blade must
rest in the groove of the guide roller (fig 4).
3. Release the tool-less blade clamp to lock the blade.
Pull on the blade to check that it is securely locked in
place.
ReMOVINg THe SAw bLAde
1. Unplug the jigsaw from the power supply.
2. Turn the tool upside down; depress the tool-less
blade clamp to remove the blade.
ATTACHINg THe edge gUIde
(fig 5)
1. Loosen the two edge guide locking knobs.
2. Insert the bar of the edge guide through the slots
in the base of the jigsaw. The edge guide can be
inserted from either side of the base, with the edge
guide facing down.
2. Measure the distance from the edge of the
workpiece to the line of the cut. Slide the edge guide
to this desired distance and tighten the locking
knobs to secure the edge guide in place.
AdjUSTINg THe SHOe PLATe fOR
ANgULAR CUTTINg
(fig 6)
1. Use the hex key to loosen the two hex screws
located on the underside of the tool.
2. Move the shoe plate slightly forward and tilt it to the
desired angle between 0° and 45° left or right, using
the scale marked on the base bracket. If the required
angle is 0° or 45° to the left or right, push the shoe
plate backwards so that the teeth on the shoe plate
mesh with the retaining teeth.
3. Securely tighten the hex screws.
Accurate work requires a trial cut, measure the work after cutting and reset the angle setting until the correct
setting is achieved.

• Always ensure that the tool is turned OFF and unplugged from the power supply before
making any adjustments and installing any attachments.

CAUTION!
• For all work or when changing the blade, always wear protective gloves. The sharp edge of
the blade will cause personal injury. The blade can be very hot while working.
• Allow the blade to cool after use. The blade can become dangerously hot.

• Check that the blade is correctly attached. An incorrect or insecurely fastened blade can
come loose during operation and cause a hazard.
• Always ensure that the tool is turned OFF and unplugged from the power supply before
making any adjustments and installing any attachments.

Make sure that the guide roller is adjusted correctly: Use the key to loosen the two hex screws
located on the underside of the tool. Push the guide roller forward until it touches the saw blade. Tighten
the screws.
