Problem

Pole saw does not work.
The battery pack is not
properly attached to the tool.
Attach the battery pack to the tool.
The battery pack is depleted. Charge the battery pack.
The battery pack is
overheated.
Cool the battery and restart the tool.
Motor runs, but the chain
does not rotate.
Chain does not engage drive
sprocket.
Reinstall the chain, making sure that
the drive links on the chain are fully
seated on the sprocket.
Chain tension is too tight.
Re-tension the chain.
Motor runs and the chain
rotates but does not cut.
Dull chain.
Replace or sharpen the chain.
Chain on backwards.
Reinstall the chain to reverse the
direction of the chain.
