
The instrument will record the number of wheel pulses over
the 100m distance. (fig 24)
Stop the spreader when the 100m mark lines up with the
reference point on the spreader. (fig 25)
The new factor is shown, press enter to store in memory or ESC
to redo the AUTOCAL procedure. (fig 26)
Note : if you over run the 100m marker, DO NOT simply
reverse. You must redo the AUTOCAL procedure.
6.2.5 GPS ON/OFF

If the instrument is fitted to a suitable 3rd party GPS controller the forward speed factor can be re-
ceived from the GPS unit via a RS -232 serial cable. To receive a forward speed factor signal from
the GPS controller press the GPS ON/OFF button.
6.2.6 SIMULATED FORWARD SPEED

SIMULATED FORWARD SPEED
For setup and diagnostic purposes the instrument can simulate a forward speed signal. To turn ON
the the simulated forward speed press the SIM key and then enter the desired forward speed.
The Simulated Forward speed can be turned OFF by pressing the SIM key or by moving the
spreader forward. When a pulse is detected from the wheel sensor or radar the Simulated Forward
Speed will be turned OFF.
