3.2.4.7.1  Waterfall

3.2.4.7.1.1  Zoom Settings

This Zoom Settings Window settings page lets the user change the settings of the Zoom tool. 

The Zoom Settings Window

The 

Shape

 changes it between a rectangle or circle. 

The 

Size

 changes the size of the zoom tool in pixels. 

The 

Zoom

 tool will change the power of the zoom. 

3.2.4.7.1.2  Image Adjustment Settings

Access to Image Adjustment settings 

The Image Adjustment Window setting page gives the user
access to settings options to change the appearance of the 
waterfall data. 

View Raw Data

 turns off the software-adjusted data. 

Waterfall Subsample

 permits the user to condense the data

into a subsample if a sample size is larger than the pixel width
of the displayable area.  That is, the Waterfall Subsample will
take either the Average of the samples or the Peak (highest)
sample. The default is the Peak sample and is used for the

most detailed image. 

Manual TVG

 allows the user to turn off the Time-Variance Gain and to manually adjust the gain. 

Click in the <

Manual TVG

> box for access to the sliders.

Apply To All

 

Data

 sets the manually adjusted TVG uniformly for all incoming data.

Color Palette

 allows the user to invert its direction from the default setting of lowest on the left

and highest on the right for the waterfall.  From the list, select the background color scheme for
the waterfall data.

3.2.4.7.1.3  Features

The Features Window

This Features Window settings page lets the user change the 
waterfall settings.

Here a user can:

Turn SOG correction off. 
Turn on Slant Range Correction.
