2. Remove port cover or existing indicator from air duct service port. Inspect for damage.
1. Turn off engine. 3. Install Senzit Monitoring Device.
NOTE: Do not attempt to install Senzit Monitoring Device by screwing into service port by hand.
Direct Installation to Metal Service Port of Air Duct
(Not recommended to install Senzit directly to plastic service port. Use remote mount installation.)
a. Rotate service port release nut clockwise with a 1" wrench to loosen.
b. Connect to air duct service port and tighten with 7/16" wrench. Do not exceed 15 ft-lbs (20 Nm).
c. Rotate service nut 1/2 turn counter-clockwise with 1" wrench.
Caution: Overtightening may damage threads.
Note: M10x1 to 1/8 - 27 NPT adapter is supplied if required for installation.
4. Connect Senzit Monitoring Device power cable.
- Senzit power must be wired to fused ignition power. See “Wiring Instructions” on page 9 for more information.
- If existing indicator has a power wire, run the Senzit Monitoring Device in parallel using airline Tee (not supplied)
with stock monitor. (See Ref. Image B below.)
