Prepare DeLimer solution.
Follow label instructions to
prepare the correct amount of
delimer.
For models:
I300, I320, I420
Kay Delimer - Mix 2 packets
with 1 liter of warm water
or
McD KL - Measure 120 ml
I1200, I1400, I1600, I1800
Kay Delimer - Mix 5 packets
with 1 liter of warm water
or
McD KL - Measure 290 ml
For all other models
Kay Delimer - Mix 4 packets
with 1 liter of water
or
McD KL - Measure 200 ml
*Amounts vary by ice machine size
due to amount of water being held in
the water trough of each machine.
Larger machines hold more water.
Concentration should remain the
same.

Press CLEAN switch.
Push the clean button to
start the cleaning process.

Delime evaporator and water
circulation system.
Wait for approximately 2
minutes until water starts to
flow over the evaporator, then
pour the premixed solution
into the water trough.

Allow clean cycle to run.
The ice machine will auto-
matically run through a wash
cycle and several rinse cycles.
The entire cycle lasts
approximately 30 minutes.
Countdown clock will let you
know duration and time re-
maining

Turn off power to the ice
machine.
Do not begin cleaning other
parts of the ice machine until
it is unplugged or
breaker/disconnect is turned
off.

Remove water curtain.
Gently flex the curtain in the
center and remove it from the
right side. Slide the left pin
out.

Remove the ice thickness
probe.
Compress the hinge pin on
the top of the ice thickness
probe.
Pivot the ice thickness probe
to disengage one pin then the
other. The ice thickness probe
can be cleaned at this point
without complete removal. If
complete removal is desired,
disconnect the ice thickness
control wiring from the
control board.
