MC 60/70 POWERSHIFT Série 2 + Turbo
These operations are to be carried out if necessary or every two years at the beginning
of winter. Place the lift truck on level ground with the I.C. engine stopped and cold.
DRAINING THE LIQUID
- Open the I.C. engine bonnet.
- Disassemble the protective guard 1 (Fig. F1/1) on the right side
(Only for MC 60
POWERSHIFT
+ Turbo)

- Place a container under drain plug 2 (Fig. F1/2) of the radiator and under drain plug 3
(Fig. F1/3) of the I.C. engine block.
- Unscrew the plugs.
- Remove filler cap 4 (Fig. F1/4) of the radiator.
- Let the cooling circuit drain entirely while ensuring that the ports do not get clogged.
- Check the condition of the hoses as well as the fastening devices and change the
hoses if necessary.
- Rinse the circuit with clean water and use a cleaning agent if necessary.
FILLING THE LIQUID
- Retighten drain plug 2 (Fig. F1/2) (Tightening torque 20 N.m) and 3 (Fig. F1/3)
(Tightening torque 7 to 12 N.m).
- Reassemble the protective guard 1 (Fig. F1/1)

- Slowly fill up the cooling circuit (See chapter : LUBRICANTS AND FUEL in paragraph :
3 - MAINTENANCE) to 12 mm under filler port 5 (Fig. F1/4).
- Put back filler cap 4 (Fig. F1/4).
- Run the I.C. engine at idle for a few minutes.
- Check for any possible leaks.
- Check the level and refill if necessary.
The I.C. engine does not contain any corrosion resistor and must be filled during the
whole year with a mixture containing 25 % of ethylene glycol-based antifreeze.
