Synonyms
SEND
The beacon is transmitting. SEND is the normal

SEARCH
SEARCH is the mode used to

PRESS simply indicates that a key

Primary
As long as no detectable signal is received

Bracketing
A search procedure in which the buried
grid search

Analog tone
The tone as received from the transmitter.
Digital tone
A tone which is generated locally by the receiver.
