Please read the manual carefully before use, and keep it for future reference.
The smoke detector is photoelectric. The infrared scatters on the surface of the smoke when the smoke enters
the darkroom of the detector. The photocell reacts to the scattered light and generates the photoelectric signal.
The photoelectric signal activates the alarm.
OPEraTiOn
a) remove the mounting plate from the back of the detector and insert 9v battery.
B) Press the test button for a few seconds for the detector to sound. When you hear the alarm sound, please
release the button (it alarms for two to three times, then stops automatically). it shows that the smoke
detector is in a normal working state. (if the alarm fails to operate correctly, the advice of the seller/manu-
facturer should be sought.)
C) install the smoke detector with two screws (supplied) to the ceiling for example.
POinTs FOr aTTEnTiOn
a) no replaceable parts inside. Only battery is replaceable.
B) Test the alarm for correct operation using the test facility, whenever the battery is replaced.
C) Do not use the product in humid, dusty and smoky environment.
D) When the battery has reached a low energy level, the detector will sound in about
every 45 seconds to indicate that the battery must be replaced.
E) keep smoke detector and packing materials out of reach of the children.
