SHADING 

 
This control helps reduce the brightness 
difference between the centre of the 
image and the edges of the image. When 
activated (set to ON), you will be 
presented with a sub-menu in which you 
can adjust the range of the WEIGHT 
applied by the SDI to the image from 0% 
to 100%. 
 

PRIVACY 

 
This control has no astronomical 
applications. When activated (set to ON), 
you will be presented with a sub-menu 
that allows you to black-out up to 16 (0 
thru 15) masking regions on your image. 
You can set the size, location, brightness 
and the amount of Red or Blue colour to 
apply to the privacy mask. 
 
 

MOTION 

 
This control is used to detect the amount 
of moving object is the field of view. 
Once activated (set to ON), you will be 
presented with a sub-menu that will allow 
you to control how the SDI responds to
