General Instructions
1.
To ensure correct and safe operation, the user
must read, understand and follow this instruc-
tion manual to assure familiarity with the
handling of the machine. Users insufficiently
informed will risk danger to themselves as well
as others due to improper handling.
2.
It is recommended to lend the machine only
to people who have proven to be experienced
with mist blowers.
3.
Children and young persons aged under 18
years must not be allowed to operate the
machine. Persons over the age of 16 years
may however use the machine for the purpose
of being trained only while under the direct
supervision of a qualified trainer.
4.
Only use plant protection products that are
specifically approved for use with mist blow
-
ers by the manufacturer and that meet all
applicable safety regulations, standards, and
ordinances.
5.
All operating and servicing people should be
trained and familiarized with the proper han-
dling procedures for the chemical products
being used, as well as with liquid chemical
disposal regulations.
6.
To reduce the risk of injury when using chem-
ical products, wear proper protective apparel
when filling, using and cleaning the mist
blower. Always follow all of the chemical man-
ufacturer’s instructions with respect to proper
eye, skin and respiratory protection.
7.
When using toxic chemicals, the operator and
any bystanders may need to wear a properly fit
-
ted respirator for the chemical being used. Refer
to the chemical product label. Breathing toxic
chemicals can cause serious or fatal injury.
Intended use of the machine
1.
The machine is only intended for spraying liquid
chemicals and other liquids to control pests and
weeds in fruit, flower and vegetable gardens, on
trees and bushes and on other plants, such as
coffee, tobacco and cotton. It is also useful for
the maintenance of young trees to control the
bark beetle and other pests and plant diseases.
Never use for any other purposes.
Training
1.
Read the instructions carefully. Be familiar
with the controls and the correct use of the
machine.
2.
Never allow children, persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge or people
unfamiliar with these instructions to use the
machine. Local regulations may restrict the
age of the operator.
3.
Never operate the machine while people, espe-
cially children, or pets are nearby.
4.
Keep in mind that the operator or user is
responsible for accidents or hazards occurring
to other people or their property.
