4) Put gear housing on Bearing setting plate (No.1R037) set on arbor press, and put Round bar 50 for arbor (No.1R283)
on spindle.   By pressing down the round bar with arbor press, spindle is removed from gear housing.
Now helical gear 37 can be replaced.   In this step, compression spring 16 is assembled to spindle. (Fig. 7)
Important: Ball bearing 6202DDW is deformed by the heavy pressure applied for spindle removal.
Therefore, also replace ball bearing 6202DDW when replacing helical gear or spindle.
5) By removing retaining ring R-35 with Retaining Ring R Pliers (No.1R005), ring 12 and ring 19 are removed from
    gear housing.
6) Remove compression spring 16 from spindle, and insert spindle into ball bearing 6202DDW through the spindle hole
on gear housing.   Now ball bearing 6202DDW can be removed from gear housing by striking spindle with plastic
    hammer. (Fig. 8)

[3] -4. Repairing Inner Housing

1) Put ball bearing 6202DDW, ring 19 and ring 12 in place in gear housing, and secure them with retaining ring R-35.
2) Assemble compression spring 16 to spindle, and apply Makita grease N No.1 to the surface of spindle that contacts
with ball bearing 6202DDW.   Insert spindle into ball bearing 6202DDW through the spindle hole in gear housing.
And press-fit spindle in gear housing with arbor press.
3) Put gear housing on Bearing setting plate (No.1R035)
set on arbor press.  While applying Bearing setting
pipe (No.1R028) to helical gear 37, press-fit helical
gear 37 on spindle with arbor press. (Fig. 9)

Do not remove cam B on inner housing because it is securely factory press-fit.  Attempt to remove cam B will result in
deformation of inner housing.  If the cam is damaged, therefore, replace inner housing entirely.
