Push the handle to the right to tilt the saw blade until the pointer roughly
points to an angle near the desired angle on the bevel scale. Then
tighten the clamping screw clockwise.

Turn the adjusting screw clockwise for fine adjustment so that the tool
moves in such a direction as the motor unit becomes upright.
4.
After fine-adjusting, tighten the lever firmly.
Eg. When setting for right 30° bevel angle cutting

Loosen the lever.
(2)
Set the tool so that the pointer points to right bevel angle increment
greater by 1° - 2° than 30° on the bevel scale. Then tighten the
clamping screw clockwise.
(3)
Turn the adjusting screw clockwise for fine adjustment until the
pointer points to 30°.
(4)
Tighten the lever firmly.
CAUTION:
•
When not fine-adjusting, keep the clamping screw loose by making 1 - 2
loose turns after fully tightening. Just loosening lever does not allow you
to adjust the bevel angle.
•
When tilting the saw blade, be sure to raise the handle fully.
•
After changing the bevel angle, always secure the arm by tightening the
lever clockwise.
