MAJIC ATTIC LIFT PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS
Section 7: Basket Adjustment
1. With the motor plugged in, pair the remote to the motor by holding both “Up” and “Down”
simultaneously until the motor jogs.
NOTE: Motor jog is a slight motor movement both forward and backwards.
DANGER
Do not stand or allow anyone to stand under the
basket.
2. Push the “Up” button and hold it to raise the basket until it is chest high, then use the "My"
button to stop the motor.
3. Go to the attic and measure the height from the bottom of the ceiling drywall to the top of the
attic floor and add 1/4" to this measurement. (This is your floor system depth measurement.)

From the inside of the bottom door to the top of the basket floor, match the floor system
depth measurement from Figure 11 above PLUS 1/4" by adjusting the nuts on the basket
legs. (See Figure 12 for reference)
NOTE: The measurement from the top of the door to the ceiling drywall must be exact to
ensure all four corners contact the ceiling simultaneously.
