8. With the help of a second person, place the assembled basket under the attic opening.

Measure from the top of the attic floor to the top of the cable bracket on the basket. This
measurement must be the same on both sides. (See Figure 8 for reference.)
NOTE: If needed, temporarily-shim under the bottom door on the side that needs to match
the measurement of the other side.

10. Locate two of the carriage bolts with pre-drilled holes and insert each carriage bolt from the
outside into the top hole of each basket arm.
11. Ensure the pre-drilled hole on the carriage bolt is vertical. (See Figure 9 for reference.)
