Crank shaft
Remove bearing race by locally
heating race red and wedging a
sharp chisel behind the race. Tap
chisel li~tlY with hammer. The
race may
removed with a blade
puller once it has moved. It is
suggested that the local motor-
cycle shop performes this operation.
The seal land must be checked for
any roughness caused by race removal.

The engine is now torn down far
enough for major servicing. Do
not d~sassemble any further un-
less absolutly necessary.
