Adding the co ff ee beans
1. Open the lid of the bean hopper (1) .
2. Pour whole roasted co ff ee beans into the bean hopper from above.
The maximum fi lling quan ty should be approx. 1 cm below the edge of
the bean hopper.
3. Close the lid of the bean hopper.
Se ng the grinding degree
The grind adjustment’s grinding degree scale displays the
desired grinding degree.
The
fi nest se ng is “1”.
1. Make sure that you have inserted the power plug (14) into a properly
installed safety socket.
2. Turn the adjus ng cap (7) towards “1” for fi ne co ff ee grinding and in the
opposite direc on for coarse co ff ee grinding (see Fig. B ).
Preparing or inser ng the grounds container/co ff ee bag
Depending on the model of your grinder, prepare the right container for
collec ng the co
ff ee grounds:
Grounds container/co ff ee bag for table/vibra ng basket
1. Place a suitable grounds container or a co ff ee bag on the table (5) or the
vibra ng basket (10) .
2. If required, adjust the height of the table to suit the grounds container/
co ff ee bag using the adjus ng screws (17) (see “Se ng up and connect-
ing the grinder” subsec on).
3. Con nue with the subsec on “Star ng the grinding process”.
Grounds container/co ff ee bag in bag clamp
1. Insert a suitable grounds container/co ff ee bag into the bag clamp (15) by
holding down the bag clamp lever (3) .
The bag clamp will li away from the spout (6) at the sides (see Fig. D ).
2. Put a co ff ee bag over the spout or posi on a suitable grounds container
underneath it.
