Replace filter dryer

Warning - Risk of frostbite from escaping 
refrigerant

Refrigerant causes severe frostbite on the 
skin.

Check the service hoses for damage.

Firmly connect the service quick-release cou -

plings to the service hoses.

 

X

Wear protective goggles.

 

X

Wear protective gloves.

Unit operation is disabled at the end of the  ter service life. 

Each  ter is marked with a unique code. This code must be 

entered when replacing the  ter. It is not possible to operate 

the ACX2120H if the same code is re-used. It is advisable to 

keep a supply of  ters in stock to avoid downtimes due to 

the unit being disabled.

The ACX2120H is disabled once 75kg of R134a refrigerant 

has passed through the  ter. A new  ter must be installed 

and its unique code entered in the ACX2120H before vehicle 

A/C service can be performed.

Disconnect the HP and LP couplers and hoses and allow the 

hose drain process to run to completion.

4.  

Disconnect 

Turn front locking latch using a flathead screwdriver and 
carefully open the front housing.

Unscrew the 2 connection nuts from top and bottom of the  ter 

using a 17mm open-ended wrench to prevent the  ter from 

spinning and a 24mm open-ended wrench to loosen the nuts.

7.  

Remove the straps

Install new  ter paying attention to the position of the gaskets 

and ensure arrow faces downward.

Tighten the 2 connection nuts t

Close front housing and secure latch.

11.  

Connect unit to power and turn on.

12.  

Allow unit to perform the automatic leak test requested by 

the software when unit loads.

Run this procedure to circulate refrigerant within the ACX2120H.
This allows the unit to further purify the refrigerant and remove 

any dirt/other impurities.
