Clean a blockage
DANGER
To avoid serious injury or death:
Hand contact with the rotating impeller inside the
discharge chute is the most common cause of injury
associated with snowblowers. Never use your hand to
clean out the discharge chute.
•
Do not attempt to clear plugged chute, auger or fan
of snow while the snowblower's engine is running.
•
Disengage snowblower. -Lower snowblower to the
ground and set parking brake.
•
SHUT THE ENGINE OFF & REMOVE KEY!
•
Wait 10 seconds to be sure that all moving parts
such as the impeller blades have stopped moving.
•
Always use a cleaning tool (a wooden stick a
minimum of 3 feet long or the chute shovel supplied
with some models), NEVER YOUR HANDS.
