4.1 CALIBRATION
Calibration of the EC1000 printer is normally not required; however, if a newly installed
ribbon is not automatically recognized calibrate the ribbon. If printer still does not recognize
the ribbon replace the ribbon. Note: if the ribbon is missing the green ring (RF ID tag) the
printer will never recognize the ribbon type.
To calibrate the printer complete the following steps:
1)
Select Menu from the system ready screen.
2)
Then choose the Printer button from the menu screen.
