176. From the top side use a screwdriver to push 

down on the center of the rivets that are 
behind the pump (shown with red arrows). 
These were shown in the last step with red 
arrows as well. 

177. Remove the two rivets shown with arrows. 

Once these last two rivets have been 
removed slide the panel down to get it past 
the vacuum pump. 

178. Pull out on the lower part of the panel and 

away to clear the two metal tabs shown with 
green arrows.  Now slide the panel down to 
get it past the vacuum pump.   

   

179. Remove the plastic rivet shown with an 

arrow. The brake air duct should now pivot out 
of the way.
