TOOL AND CHISEL HOLDER
MAKE CERTAIN THAT THE MORTISER IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER SOURCE.
1. Remove the screws from the column
2. Place tool and chisel holder (A) on left of column (B)
and align with mounting holes. Using two screws and
two washers to tighten chisel holder(A) to left of column.
EXTENSION WINGS
The mortiser base (A) is equipped with two extension
wings (B), one on each side of base. The extension wing(B)
are adding stability to the operation when work workpieces.
BASIC ADJUSTMENTS & CONTROLS
CONNECTING TO A POWER SOURCE TO REDUCE THE RISK OF SHOCK OR FIRE DO NOT
OPERATE THE UNIT WITH A DAMAGED POWER CORD OR PLUG.
REPLACE DAMAGED CORD OR PLUG IMMEDIATELY.
TO AVOID UNEXPECTED OR UNINTENTIONAL START-UP, MAKE SURE THAT THE POWER
SWITCH IS IN THE OFF POSITION BEFORE CONNECTING TO A POWER SOURCE.
Once the assembly steps have been completed and
the unit is safely secured to a work surface, uncoil the
power cord and plug the power cord into an appropriate
outlet. Refer back to the section entitled “ELECTRICAL
REQUIREMENTS” and make sure all requirements and
grounding instructions are followed. When mortising
operations have been completed unplug the mortiser from
the power source.
